Pigeon Organics is British babywear made of exclusive organic cotton

Pigeon Organics (formerly Organics for Kids) is a leading British brand of baby and children’s clothes, from which Lanowool has selected a range of exclusive and attractive products.

The selected range includes hats, jackets, bodies and rompers.

Pigeon Organics was founded in 2004 with the ambition of offering babywear made from soft organic cotton produced under environmentally sound and socially responsible conditions.

The company aims to design and manufacture attractive and eco-friendly babywear with serious attention to detail at every stage of production.

Until 2013, Pigeon Organic’s entire range was made by a small family-run factory in Nottingham, England.

However, in 2013 the factory had to close and production had to move abroad.

In recent years, production has taken place at factories in Turkey, the Ukraine, Portugal and India, but since December 2015 Pigeon Organics has again produced part of its collection at a small factory in Nottingham, England. The new factory will be in charge of the “Made in England” collection.

Pigeon Organics is a certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) manufacturer, and most of the company’s collection is made in accordance with these standards. The certification covers the entire supply chain – from field to finished product.

A few materials used in the production (such as dyes) are not organic, but the company’s GOTS compliance ensures that they do not contain harmful substances.
